The 30310 is a single-row metric taper roller bearing with a 50 mm bore, 110 mm outside diameter and 29.25 mm assembled width. It carries combined radial and axial load in one direction and is normally mounted as an opposed pair — gearbox shafts, pump and fan shafts, machine tool spindles, and wheel and axle positions on plant equipment.
Like every taper roller, it is a matched cup and cone. The two halves are ground as a set, so they are not interchangeable between bearings, even of the same designation and maker. Replace both, and if the position runs an opposed pair, replace the pair. Because the bearing is separable, preload is set on assembly rather than built in — so it matters who fits it, not just what you buy.

Fitting note. Because the cup and cone come apart, a taper roller is only as good as its setting. Too much preload runs hot and shortens life; too little lets the rollers skid.
